Winners of Hilton Hotel's 'Discovered at Marble Bar' nation-wide competition in 2013. Larger than Lions are a perfect blend of strength and control. Fusing 2 larger than life musical minds with extensive musical/performance backgrounds into one lethal musical force to be reckoned with was always going to make waves in Sydney's music scene. Larger Than Lions now maintain a highly successful weekly residency on Thursday nights at Marble Bar, Hilton Hotel with a killer repertoire embracing musical diversity and showcasing to you the songs that personally shape them as musicians. The girls have mastered the rise and fall of music, capturing the pure essence of every song at its finest, capturing your energy and making you forget about everything going in the world around you if only for a moment. That is the power of music.
 
Larger Than Lions forged solid foundations remixing well known and underground classics into catchy mashups that defy any singular genre. 
 
Backed by some of Sydney's best musicians who form part of the resident LTL band at various residencies including; 
- Shannon Haritos (Double Bass, Electric Bass)
- Lauren Allison (Drums, Percussion)
- Andrew Kaleopa (Drums, Percussion)
- Michael Dench (Keys, Synthesizer)
- Andrew Kirby (Drums)
 
The girls continue to gain exposure in Sydney and beyond with their innovative covers whilst writing exciting original tracks to be released in their much anticipated debut EP in 2014.

In one word – FANTASTIC!

The girls were amazing, professional and extremely organised.

Their set music was exactly the right fit for the guests and event type.

I would highly recommend Larger than Lions to anyone after a duo.
